Bells have been making puff pastry to the traditional ‘scotch’ method since the 1930’s when a young Donald Bell first developed a pastry which proved so popular with the local housewives that he set up shop in his home town. Today, Bells still manufacture in the town where they make the same pastry, to the same recipe, only now we produce 50 tonnes of pastry per day on our state-of-the-art laminator.
The way we manufacture our pastry makes it entirely unique in the UK and produces a wonderfully flaky pastry unlike any other. Our hugely popular range of pastry products provide the caterer and restaurateur with quality, consistency, flexibility and convenience.
